Villa 16 @ Rivendell Winery Estate - Yallingup - Margaret River Description
A perfect country side escape situated within walking distance to the onsite tennis court and cellar door as well as a ten minute drive to the famous Smiths Beach and Dunsborough town. Ideally situated in amongst the natural bushland of the renowned Rivendell Winery Estate and Gardens, this contemporary holiday home provides plenty of space for your family and friends to relax & unwind with secluded bush and vinyard views. Four large bedrooms will sleep 8 adults comfortably.
The main bedroom has a king bed, a sitting area with a 55" TV and its own ensuite bathroom. A sofa bed is also available in this room - we recommend this for up to two children under 12 years of age only. Please note this bed requires linens and advance notice is required if you wish to have it supplied.
Bedrooms 2, 3 and 4 have an activity room with a 55' TV and couch adjacent and access to a bathroom and separate toilet. Bedroom 2 has a king bed, bedroom 3 has a queen bed and bedroom 4 has two single beds. All bedrooms can fit a baby cot if required. All living areas have views of the bush and the vinyards of the adjacent Deep Woods Estate. Large sliding doors and windows create a nice and bright atmosphere. The undercover alfresco features a large BBQ and seats 10.
We live on the estate and can be reached at relatively short notice should you require any assistance during your stay.
Rivendell Estate features plenty of natural bush, dams, fields, the renowned gardens and cellar door and hosts a variety of wildlife. Enjoy waking up to the sounds of nature and admiring the birds while sipping on some of our complimentary, organic loose leaf tea and enjoy a glass of our premium Margaret River wine while gazing over the vinyards in the evening!
There are several great destinations within a short distance including Commonage Coffee Co, Aravina Estate, Wild Hop brewery, Goanna cafe (my favourite lunch spot), Happs Winery and Pottery, and Little Fish restaurant just to mention a few. The cellar door and gardens onsite also offers a pretty delicious lunch if you get one of their grazing boards starting from $59 including a bottle of wine ?
A great range of tour companies service the area as well as a taxi service out of Dunsborough. We recommend Mr Mustang hire for something fancy, South West Charters, Taste the South or Cellar D'Or tours for a bigger group. Contact us for more information.
Rivendell cellar door provides tastings of a range of wines from the estate. They also serve coffee and tea from 11am Friday to Sunday. Keep an eye out for extended hours during school holidays.
The cellar door also offers vineyard platters for lunch and stocks a delicious range of picnic foods to choose from that can be enjoyed in the beautiful gardens with a glass of your favourite wine or a cold beer.
Please note: This property includes all linen and towels. This property is self-catering, however a starter pack of toilet paper, hand soaps, dishwasher tablets, dishwashing liquid, sponge & bin bags is provided.
School Leavers: We do not accept any school leavers bookings at any time of the year.
