There is a famous Cheonggye stream and a big super market called E-Mart within 3 minutes of walking distance. It takes about 15 minutes on foot to the famous Dongdaenum shopping center.
It is located in the middle of a new town and a traditional area so you can enjoy both atmosphere in only a few minutes of walking distance. For a traditional experience, you can go the famous Dongmyo flea market where you can see second-handed furniture, electric goods, watch, jewelry, cameras, machines, old books, etc and a conventional market in a traditional area and on the opposite site, you can also see many modern style restaurants, drinking bars etc.
