The Kinghorn Garden House started as an oasis idea of Mindanao local Helen Kinghorn and California native Tim Kinghorn. Tim and Helen met here in Camiguin and decided they wanted to build a home that encapsulated the moments they shared and experienced here in the island.
Completed in early 2020, the Kinghorn family decided to open the home to other travelers looking to experience the same wonderments they have on this island. The house and the units have a sleek, modern design uncommon to the Philippines, that is spacious, open, and private. Every unit has a shared or private balcony facing the ocean, wifi, and full amenities including a fridge, stove, sink, microwave, toaster oven, rice cooker, and full bathroom with hot showers.
This Suite Room is located on the Second Floor and takes half of the balcony which is for your own private use. Full kitchen, a fully furnished living room area, full bathroom and separate shower. Private bedroom with queen size bed, and up to 4 floor mattresses can be placed in the living room area.
The property has a care taker on site who can arrange motorbike, van, or jeepney rentals, give information on the local tuk-tuks, help with rides to airport or ferry terminal, recommend the best restaurants on the island, arrange several Island tour packages, call a local masseuses, or help you with anything else you may need during your stay.
