Kalaafaanu Retreat is conveniently located in the popular South Ari Atoll area. The property features a wide range of facilities to make your stay a pleasant experience. 24-hour room service, free Wi-Fi in all rooms, 24-hour security, shrine, daily housekeeping are there for guest's enjoyment. Guestrooms are designed to provide an optimal level of comfort with welcoming decor and some offering convenient amenities like towels, separate living room, television LCD/plasma screen, sofa, umbrella. Take a break from a long day and make use of snorkeling, private beach, diving, fishing, garden. To reach the property, a public ferryboat, chartered speedboat or Seaplane can be arranged by the hotel for which payment will be collected upon check in. Please contact the property to book your transfer arrangement at least 3 days prior to your arrival. The ferryboat takes 4 -5 hours to reach the property and costs approximately USD 5 per person each way.
The ferry departs from Male at 09:00 AM on Saturdays, Mondays and Wednesdays only. (Departure is from Villingili Ferry Terminal)
The ferry departs from the property at 09:30 AM on Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays only.
If your flight arrival/departure does not fit into the public ferry schedule, you will need to take the speedboat/seaplane transfer or make arrangements to stay in Male.,Speed Boat Ferry

The ferryboat takes 1 hour 15 minutes to reach the property and costs approximately USD 30 per person each way.
The ferry departs from Male at 04:00 PM every day except Fridays.
The ferry departs from the property at 07:30 AM every day except Fridays.

The speedboat costs approximately USD 750 per trip, one way. Maximum 10 people per trip.
Advance booking is required for speedboat transfers.,Shared seaplane transfer

The seaplane takes 40 minutes to reach the property and costs approximately USD 300 for the whole trip (USD 270 for seaplane transfer and USD 30 Boat transfer to the property).
Guests are required to book at least 3 days in advance for seaplane transfers.,***Please note that to be able to get to the resort on the same day; guests must arrive on international flight before 03:00 PM.
