Here at Tajug Loro, we provide three beautiful and comfortable rooms with Javanese design with modern twists. Tajug Loro is the origin name of Joglo, a traditional Javanese house that is the center of this property. The rooms are located adjacent to the main Joglo and the property also houses a coffee shop and a restaurant. We are located in Ring Road Utara, just a three minute walk from Monumen Jogja Kembali.
The space
What used to be a residential area now turned into a family owned business, providing rented rooms, coffee shop, restaurant, and rented office spaces.
Tajug Loro #2 is located in the second floor and has a capacity of two adults. A patio overlooking the fish pond and a whole range of facilities and amenities will surely make you feel at home.
The interior design combined some classic Javanese furniture with bits of modern touches here and
there. Most of the furnitures and trinkets in the room are all made locally.
Guest access
GUEST ACCESS
You will have a full private access to your own room and patio. The restaurant’s kitchen is free to use for (URL HIDDEN) guests and you can use the restaurant seating area as well. A spacious parking area for cars or motorbikes is also available.
Since the rooms are part of a restaurant and coffee shop you WILL encounter other guests but access to your room is private.
Other things to note
THINGS TO CONSIDER
Because we are located right in the side of the Ring Road Utara you may hear some noises from cars or motorbikes passing by. But if you keep all windows and doors closed then the noise will be none to minimal.
Our room is located in the second floor, please notify us if you need help getting your luggages up or if you need any assistance of any kind.
During the weekends, it might get busy in the restaurant but then again if you close all doors and windows the noise from restaurant below would not be a problem.
To further minimize the noise we will provide earplugs for free.
Please do NOT smoke inside the room (you can smoke in the patio), do NOT bring alcohol since we are located in a moslem dominated residential area, drugs and pets of any kind are STRICTLY prohibited.
We have a 24 hour house keeper, and all the main areas are installed with CCTVs.
No daily cleaning, as we dont charge for cleaning fee. You are responsible to your own room cleanliness. If you wish to have your room cleaned by the staff, you can ask the staff directly and there will be an extra fee.
