This design-forward hideaway offers an elevated lodge experience in the heart of the forest and has been retrofitted to feature expansive windows, a custom-built staircase, and a disarming soaking tub. The best view of the lush greenery around might just be from this bath tub in the treetop suite. The windows open to breathtaking views of the surrounding jungle and the Brahmagiri hills. The flora and fauna is rich and there is every possibility that you will spot deer, elephants, Indian gaur and much more. A stay in The Stump starts with an ascent up the staircase to the main entrance, 35 feet from the forest floor. The suite features a king-size bed, a cocoon swing and a conversation table, along with luxurious amenities including a steam shower. With customized packages, a night in the 600 square-foot suite makes for a perfect celebratory toast. Alongside the tree-top suite, guests have access to the restaurant, bonfire area and are allowed to walk freely inside the coffee and pepper plantation. I am usually available over the weekend to meet and greet all Guests. Otherwise, there's a Supervisor onsite 24/7 who will cater to all your needs. The property is located amidst coffee and pepper plantation and surrounded by old growth Wayanad forests. Brahmagiri Hills offer mesmerizing views from the elegant suite. Trekking, barbecue, 4*4 jeep drive through dense forests, river visit, jungle safari are few activities that can be arranged. The property is in close proximity to several sight seeing places such as Nagarhole Forest, Iruppu Falls, Thirunelly temple, Kuruva island etc Parking is available onsite at no additional cost. Nearest bus stand is Kattikulam and all night buses from Bangalore to Kozhikode and Kozhikode to Bangalore go via Kattikulam which is only 13 kms away from the property. Pick-up and drop to Kattikulam can be arranged at an additional cost. During the day there are several buses that ply from Mysore and Kozhikode. Local buses ply during the day and the bus stop is right in front of the property. These buses connect most of the sightseeing places around. Jeeps are also available for hire.
