**PLEASE NOTE: Trout is 27km from Hogsback on a gravel road and is best suited for high clearance / off-road / SUV vehicles.**
Trout is the perfect weekend getaway and family holiday destination, with wide-open spaces to explore. Enjoy complete privacy and expansive views of the dam and grassy ridges.
There are many places to explore, and the quaint village of Hogsback is a scenic drive away. Enjoy the best of both worlds: farm & village.
Escape to the countryside and reconnect with nature.
The house has a living area with a fireplace for cosy winter evenings, four bedrooms (two double and two twin rooms), a full kitchen (microwave, stove, fridge/freezer) and two bathrooms (main en-suite). Both a shower and a bath. BBQ area. It is serviced daily.
You have the whole farm to explore, whether hiking, trail running, horse riding or mountain biking (bring your bikes). There are trout dams and 18km of the meandering river, so bring your fly fishing equipment.
You have private access to the whole house and do not have to share spaces with other guests.
Your hosts are available to help throughout your stay on the farm.
On arrival, go directly to the house, which will be open and ready. Your hosts will come to greet you, so please let us know when you have arrived, as the Trout Lodge is privately situated away from the main homestead.
