Chiang Dao (transport from Chiang Mai included - there maybe an additional
charge from Chiang Dao) |
Chiang
Mai Whitewater Rafting
Our full day trip will begin from your hotel / guest house or
our designated "pick up point" . We will drive north
out of Chiang Mai's city center, before arriving at our private
camp in Sop Kai. We gear up our rafts and "put in"
. We push our way through about 20-25 rapids ranging from grade
2 to 4. The day is filled with spectactular jungle views as
we pass some river side hill tribe camps, an elephant camp,
while observing wildlife in its natural habitat.
Continuing along the river, the gradient becomes steeper
and the rapids become more frequent, encountering rapids with
such names as "Dragon", "Swimmer's Chute"
and "Near the Wall ". We finish our day's trip at
our private river camp, then return to Chiang Mai.
